who locks warez down to their products?

the problem is not the piracy ffs, nor the cost as people will happily pay for something that is required (not forced upon you) but re-drm is a ***** and you honestly dont see THATS what peoples problem is?

Sorry, if I assumed people would take those variables into counting the total number of hypocrites that posted as accounts that never post or only post a few times a year and threads not dealing with the subject matter greatly influence the majority number

Super Magicom, Game Doctor Series I -> VI, Doctor V64, Z64, NeoFlash NDS all required games to be in their format or could not be played. In-fact, mostly every NES, GB, SNES and N64 copiers had proprietary formats. The NeoFlash NDS Flashcard didn't play normal DUMPS you had to download special dumps just for that cartridge.

Xecuter 3 had it's own DRM BIOS. SmartXX had it's own DRM BIOS.

Many PS2 modchips had DRM firmware. So did a few others.

The inference of your little ditty was that the majority of members have now come out of the shadows due to warez and the like. I actually think you will find that most of the members posting regarding EBOOT fixes etc have been reasonably frequent posters all the time.

You will also find that of that majority.. see? that is how to use the word when talking about a selective group of members..... that the majority of them.... ooops, I did it again...... are either anti-DRM, or dislike it in principal.
