hey fellas, im new to the ps3 hacking scene but kinda old with the psp hacking scene.

i just purchase a CECHH01 with a ylod but i will be fixing it this weekend. yay

as of for now i have only one question and i hope to get some help

so i have search through the forums and just really found tut on how to convert cex to dex but i haven't really gotten a real answer of what is dex and what is cex? from what i got is cex is retail version.

CEX = retail
DEX = debug

^^ what he said. Basically a dex will allow you to update and downgrade your firmware as you please.

Hello. Do not ask any questions that have been asked many times before. Use the search function.
Also:
Sex is Kiosk/Store (Just a little info)
Cex is Retail.
Dex is Debug/Dev. It was made for devs so it has many features we want on ours. Such as Being able to run unsigned PKGs and downloading of Debug eboots (If your on the Dev network) And running Games off of a HDD. And much more
