Although the above methods might work for some situation, it might not work in this case. If you have studied @CaptainCPS-X 's guide and other threads, you will realise that you will required a Hardware Flashing method to recover your bricked console.

My PS3 is brick.
I have not really turned off but still it happened.

what is "payload dongle"?

it must be E3? TB or jailbreak works.

thanks

If you press power on the PS3, and it briefly flashes yellow, beeps, then stays on a flashing red, you have what is known as YLOD brick, and the only way to recover is with a hardware flasher.

If not, you might be able to recover with factory service mode, and this requires a USB device that can be setup to put the PS3 in FSM, I believe any original jailbreak dongle can be used, along with various phones/ipods/PSP/etc. using PSGrade. PSP works with PSP Jig. Google is your friend.

I converted my ps3 slim from DEX to CEX sucessfully with no problems or bricking. Here's what I did and it worked.

1. Before you start be in Rogero 3.55 DEX CFW
2. Flash your CEX.EID0.NORBIN in multiman CEX
3. Exit Multiman.
4. Now this is the important part. Do not reboot or turn off ps3 with remote, you will brick it. Do a system update by going into recovery mode, (Turn off Playstation; hold the power button down; the system will turn on and turn off once again, once the system has been shutdown, re-press you finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps; when you hear the 2 beeps take finger off power button; you will be promted to plug in your controller via usb and then hit the PS button; the Recovery menu will pop up; choose system update.)
Update your PS3 by using Rogero 3.55CEX CFW v3.4 ( this CEX fw have LV1 syscon checks patched to avoid Bricking ).
5. Done, your back to CEX firmware.

If you want you could install your favorite CFW after Rogero 3.55 CEX CFW v3.4.

I'm not responsible for any bricks this may cause. I'm just sharing what I did to convert my ps3 back to CEX from DEX. Good luck!

Danny G, I'm not sure what you mean about data transfer. Can you explain little further. And not I didnt go back to dex after conversion. I dont want to risk bricking it by going back and forth for no reason. Sorry and good luck!
