many members on some sites know how to fix already those games. check dark souls it can't be fixed with those tools we have. as i said before someone told me to use his method: decrypt and encrypt to lower fw and not npdrm but app with scetool, then decrypt and encrypt with multiman ebootfix
and again scetool to make npdrm eboot. that is the method he used to make many eboots working. i don't know if those are true and can work really.

Found this on some iso ps3 site, regarding npdrm back on 3.55 days.

Tutorial DECRYPT NPDRM
well i guess i can tell you how the EASY WAY.
(After figuring this out I saw moogie figured it out also)This the easy way so ill tell you how to do that
(i havent looked for extensively/found the latest NPDRM keys like what duplex uses or whatever)

Basically you can make ebootMOD do this (this is the easy way instead of cygwin or linux)

1) Get deank's ebootMOD

2) keys: get app-iv-102f, app-key-102f, app-pub-102f, app-priv-356, free_klicensee-key, klic-key, npdrm-const and rif-key

3) get the unself that is 139KB allows NPDRM decryption
(to get items 3 and 4 search for PS3_Tools_NPDRM_v3)

4) put keys in ebootMOD's .ps3 folder

5) replace ebootMOD's unself (132 KB) with the 139KB unself (allows NPDRM decryption)

6) Drag and drop NPDRM eboot over ebootMOD icon

7) ebootMOD will make MODIFIED_EBOOT.BIN at the same location as original NPDRM ebootEDIT: I meant (to get items 2 and 3 search for PS3_Tools_NPDRM_v3)
Also, you can use the tools with PS3_Tools_NPDRM_v3 to unpkg update pkg files but you need working knowledge of cygwin/linux
yet again an easier way is to just get Unpkg GUI by team sos

(i just extracted skyrim 1.03 update with this,
but of course cant decrypt eboot cause its using higher NPDRM keys or has EDAT,
havent checked anyway EDAT uses several keys,

EDATKEY: 84E9FC3574EAA11A9462FFA53D5EA46B4D0003BFRIVKEY: E129F27C5103BC5CC44BCDF0A15E160D445066FF EDATDEFAULTHASHKEY: 8A721A06ABC7BB9BF398C5EF5D6F1FD997BC0A56 and blah blah)

Missing npdrm keys can be found in this file for os X (use 7-zip and unpack it all the way down till you get the .ps3 folder out.)
Code:
http://www.2shared.com/file/lv38Dbax/Ps3ToolsOsXv2pkg.html
(not my file.)

Also , scetool 'keys' file may need some fixing. Ensure your scetool is correct and outputs this on scetool -k:

Code:
isoldr SELF 0x0000 03.60 [Isolated SPU Module]
lv1ldr SELF 0x0000 03.60 [lv1]
lv2ldr SELF 0x0000 03.60 [lv2]
appldr SELF 0x0010 03.60 [Application]
appldr SELF 0x0010 03.60 [NPDRM Application]

Thx for the info just checking my keys...
Cant extract it on pc; cant get to the .ps3 folder but i think i got most of them

I AM just checking the wiki and found 2 not listed in my scetool keys also not in download keys on the wiki.
I think most of you will not have these.. the one you describe i got for-sure
Because on ps3dev gui it said 2 times Revision=10 on application thats why it was not listed at first. Thats when i started looking at keys..
These 2 are new to me spp_verifier and spu_pkg_rvk_verifier note for these 2 have no ctype's i tried 3.56

don't give up now! we are close to defeating and figuring out what causes those 80XXXXX errors.

so what's the deal with those sys_param files? how did the dark souls and skyrim fixes get created?

@dcnigma : why were those keys missing in the tool keyset? and could this be the reason for the games not to work? shouldn't the tool give an error output when it's missing keys and we try to resign files?

The keys are out there, except someone screwed up when adding them into the /data/keys format/folder for scetool.

(I won't be posting anything illegal, it's a personal choice i made, to avoid _any_ and all risks regarding this.)

What to do:

Run scetool -k
Check if you have the four, or five keys detected. If it only finds four entries, you have the wrong data/keys file.

Note: It's still wrong up on ps3devwiki as of today! You can only correct this manually!

1. Check the keys file you (probably) got from http://www.ps3devwiki.com/files/devt...tool/data/keys
2. Do a search for '0300600' Notice that there is one key, which has the details in order RIV/ERK/PUB. It's the fourth hit.
3. Correct the order to ERK/RIV/PUB, get rid of the version=3.60 line this is wrong also.
4. Save the file

Now run scetool -k again, output should be like this:
Code:
isoldr SELF 0x0000 03.60 [Isolated SPU Module]
lv1ldr SELF 0x0000 03.60 [lv1]
lv2ldr SELF 0x0000 03.60 [lv2]
appldr SELF 0x0010 03.60 [Application]
appldr SELF 0x0010 03.60 [NPDRM Application]

Thumbs up

hey, thx after edit it's showing 5

the last one in the "list" was also wrong correct?
the correct one ended with ctype=27 --360npdrmkey

@Asure , can u do one thing?, pls post the size of the keyfile
It's18,859 bytes? after messing arround..or the md5 can help
thx anyway

the batman arham update, i noticed after decrypting eboot then dropping on EBOOTMOD, it searched and changed "sys_param" at offset but crashed on "make_self" part so that's the real problem? doing "npdrmeboot" fix isn't enough, although it was for "dirt3" ?! it needs that "sys_param" edit before building eboot.bin..i can't beat it ftm..gonna watch some flick instead

Thanks for the headsup @Asure .

Now I get 5 of them too. But my Bleach eboot still gives me a scetool stopped working error.
