Hello this is my Second post ever on this website. I have 4.20 on my ps3 and need to get 3.55 CFW. Can i somehow get a 3.55 Update and just Downgrade to it? Or do i need some special tools, I'm a noob to this but i pick up pretty fast!

you need a hardware flasher. only way.

It's really not worth it unless you are a bit advanced. Like seriously, if you haven't done something like this before, just forget it or have someone else do it.

I was able to figure out the e3 flasher pretty easily. There are plenty of tuts on it and it has a solder less clip. If you are a noob, and really want to do it yourself, I would suggest the e3 flasher. If you don't have good patience( because you are going to need them) then just pay someone to do it for you. It is pretty damn frustrating, but it isn't rocket science. Good luck

tjhooker73's link has the e3 flasher set that comes with that station, but what you need is the flasher not just that sata station. the dongle can be many options like a psp, iphone, teensy, calculator...etc. you also have to be willing to take apart your ps3.
