Yes it does.

MW3 will work if you put the game on internal, select "BD-Mirror" and "Internal", then start the game. I tested this last night on DEX.

Anyone know why when I BD-mirror the game (MW3) the ps3_game folder gets moved to the root, but never gets moved back? If I started another game that required BD-mirror what would happen? would my MW3 ps3_game folder get deleted? merged with the next game i bd mirror? I dont understand it.

I think the only person who could answer that is Dean...lol

I know I have MW,MW2 and MW3 all setup with internal and BD mirror and keep switch from one to the other without any problems.

well tryed external not working on kmeaw BLUS30838 just stays at black screen with orange light on ps3
will try internal not working internal either
installed game internal and then used propjoe fix
bd internal still not working black screen just loading

The BD-Mirror option copies/symlinks content to the root as it emulates the BD drive. Another BD-Mirror game will simply ovewrite the existing data.

None of this will overwrite the original backup folder.

You can use the BDRESET.PKG and that will remove the folder from the root.

But if it overwrites the existing data, and my MW3 game directory doesnt have ps3_game folder in it anymore, will it delete my 8.02 gb game?

It creates a symlink so no, it won't overwite your EXISTING back up folder (ie., the one in "GAMES").

Think of it as a shortcut, you can delete a shortcut without deleting the original data.

have you tried to start another game? your mw3 copy should be moved properly to the mw3 folder
