Android phone, USB in debugging mode, folder named packages in root folder with desired pkgs. Hope it all works out for you. Sorry for your loss, they don't call them the terrible twos for nothing. Hopefully a Dev creates a mod that adds a password option on certain system menus/options

Edit:

Strangley enough, I have no problem switching cfws with the SD card.

Package manager I guess wasn't programmed to sniff out packets from the sd card slot.

Not everybody has a PS3 with sd card slot, so I guess its forgivable heh.

true but i just thought i swear u can update fw via a burnt cd eg

On the CD create a folder called PS3 then go in there and create another folder called UPDATE, put the update PUP file in there, the folder names are case sensitive. You should get an option for it from the update menu in settings

also i think i got another way he can . just gunna test it

I don't have a problem switching firmware, I can do that with the SD card, I'm have a problem with .pkg files, package manager wont detect .pkg files from the SD card slot, so I cant install anything because I don't have any usb memory devices.

send a message to @itskamel and ask him nicely if he could make u a cfw with mutiman built into the fw . that way u can install the fw and have mutiman and u be able to use ftp to install stuff via mutiman

No Android phone? If you have a usb cable for just about any other phone, in general their internal/external memory is in fat format. Create folders on phone via PC(if older phone ) old MP3 player, anything with a USB. A camera, the device don't need to be compatible with file just using it as a storage medium. Post is a little jumbled, had the day off
