NAND PS3 are the best PS3 but they also fragile like glass! I don't think there is someone with a hardware-flasher(If you ment ProgSkeet) in my country. Very hard to find one. After much self thoughts, I feel is not cost effective (Shipment included) to order ProgSkeet + NAND clip. If I could find a 3.55 NOR Fat PS3 or PS3 Silm (CECH-25XX), I will get it. Thanks. =) |

Danny G, if your hd in your old laptop works, you could take it out and put it on another laptop to retrieve your files. See if you could borrow a friend or relative's laptop or if you have another laptop you could swap hd's. Also you could get a external hd and swap the hd in the external with the one in your laptop. My flash.cex.norbin size is 16MB. Good luck!

I had your same problem! Did you read this thread! Please do not commit the same mistake! But you did. Were your on FSM when you try to update? If yes? You can try this steps. I can't guaranty that it will work. @zaphod might able to give you additional advice. Source: Code:
http://www.ps3crunch.net/forum/threads/4111-C2D-EXE-v2-(PS3-Flash-Patcher)-Now-Allows-Users-to-Modify-Region-TargetID-Settings?p=46086#post46086 1. Format USB PEN and put lv2diag.self file 1 (http://www.ps3devwiki.com/wiki/Downg...her#PUP_to_use), the one that is green, also put PS3UPDAT.PUP in the root of the PEN (the 2 files must be in the root of the USB PEN) On the PS3 Skipped Step 1 - 6 Just turn off PS3 7. Put the USB Pen with the 2 files inside in the right usb port 8. Power on the PS3. If all went well you shall see the ps3 reading stuff in the usb pen, and the hard drive of ps3 working, wait for the console to power off. 9. Remove the USB PEN (you will have an UPDATER_LOG.TXT in the Pen with the details) 10. Power on the PS3 11. At this point you can check if the console boot up and its inside factory mode (red square box in the bottom left of the screen) 12. Power off the PS3 On the computer 13. All you need now is to get out of Factory Mode, so put lv2diag.self file 2 in a FAT32 blank USB Pen On the PS3 14. Put the USB Pen in the right port with the file already on it 15. Power on (the console will power off automatically) 16. Power again and should be ok |

![]() Now to think about it, I was not as smart as you in the moment when I had RSOD. I panicked and I did not think clearly. Oh well, we learn from hard lessons! Just stay in DEX for now.
