Yeah, time for Legend of Zelda again !
Will it render it in HD, or native N64 resolution ? |

because to him it seems stupid that a nobody in the N64 scene would suddenly come out with a apparently suddenly awesome N64 emulator?
Unless he had help from said people.
And PJ64 atm is not at all suitable for the task, it needs to have extensive rewrites in core parts to be remotely portable. Mupen has the advantage of being targetting cross platform compatibility. |

PJ64 has always been my weapon of choice.
@mudlord does this mean are you considering having a stab at, the white whale that is, N64 on PS3 via mupen or alternative ways?????

Unlike others who say crap and never deliver, I rather would say that I rather make statements when some code at least is running. So I am not confirming nor denying anything at this stage.
I did some brief updates to 1.6 of pj64, but it would need a lot more things to get done to it. Mupen64 I personally don't think is a option, considering how most *decent* games are broken with it. That, and RetroArch itself would need major updates or a mod to get what Squarepusher and I would consider good enough functionality for 3D based system emulation. |

A fully working N64 emu would virtually complete the PS3 for me ![]() @mudlord afaik team emulatemii are only missing the 64 bit dynarec in their almost completed emu, if you can help them out this could progress very quickly, no?

@DEFAULTDNB
I think those that are capable of such things on the PS3, do not want to get involved in this scene, because of how it is.

Blame the PS3 scene for that.
Take @Squarepusher2 for example, I don't always get on with him, I don't think I ever will, but he is a developer that was dedicating his time to the PS3 scene, he even spent his own money on buying a debug machine, but that machine turned out to be a Cex>Dex convert and those that could have stopped this crime didn't, now would you want to help a scene that corrupt. Now this is the first Cex>Dex method that I heard about, which was over a year ago, this is not the same Cex>Dex method that is available now. |

![]() I'm gutted the scene is the way it is, but perhaps now thats out in the open we can stat a new and revitalise the scene with new emulators and fresh homebrew. Every cloud can have a silver lining, but its whether people are willing to forge ahead regardless.
