It's a good game. I beat it when I was a little younger so I didn't get to see it for what it really was. It's like showing a child a Picasso painting. They may seem to enjoy the colors, or the figures, or the background, but they won't see it for what it really is until they're able to grasp just one of life's many underlying meanings, so that they can later apply their own meaning to precious works of art such as MGS4.

But we can't deny that MGS4 is still better than many games that have been released lately, many games are released without any development dedication, the one we see imprinted all over MGS4 and previous releases.

That is why I never get tired of my man, Solid Snake & Big Boss (Snake), no matter if hes young or old, cloned or sick with some weird nano-machine stuff xD. Hell, I even started to like the latest upgrade they made to Raiden.

For me MGS4 is one of those games like "Super Mario Bros 3", "Street Fighter II Series", "Mortal Kombat 3 / Trilogy / UMK Series", "Final Fantasy VII", etc (could keep mentioning some more xD)... I never get tired of playing those games from start to finish, because they are great games, done with passion over the time.

4 years, 5 years ..., I will always have love for these kind of games (I'm still waiting for the FFVII Kick-Ass Remake xD LOL)

Update: Based on these news from July 11th, 2012, there is something else coming up for MGS fans!

Metal Gear Solid 4 Gets Trophy Support; New Announcements Coming at August Event Metal Gear Solid 4 will get a Trophy patch, according to an interview with Hideo Kojima in this week's Famitsu. The magazine does not reveal a date for the patch, but MGS4 is scheduled to receive a budget release in in August, so the timing could coincide with that. The interview also reveals that Konami will hold a Metal Gear Solid 25th Anniversary Event on August 30 at Tokyo Midtown (the office complex that houses Konami's main office). There will be some sort of announcement at the this event, Kojima reveals in the interview. This announcement is apparently related to the vision he's previously shared about a game that connects people. Peace Walker's "Transfarring" component served as a test for this vision. Update: This report does appear to be true! The Trophy support will be included out the box with a 3,990 yen "PlayStation 3 The Best" budget version of MGS4 in August. Current MGS4 owners will be able to patch their copy of the game.
