Someone check if they can still see the 3.60 updates for other games?

I just checked some, i only see the latest patches for COD:MW3 for example with http://www.brewology.com/psn/updater.php. The older patches appear to be missing?

But i made a mistake

Forgot to change the bat file :

scetool.exe -d engine_ps3.sprx selfout.elf -l %KEY%

into

scetool.exe -d default.self selfout.elf -l %KEY%

So it was compare from a file that didnt exist...

Started again.

@deeptrap my bad, i was trying on the 1.17 update.. i grabbed 1.03 now thanks to the brewology links. I can't seem to get older versions by the pkg downloader anymore, just the most recent. I think they changed something in the server response, not to give old updates unless needed. (e.g. 1.17 contains all the fixes from 1.00 - 1.16 as well, so they are not needed and a security risk..)

Damned, it also didn't work for me. This approach was suggested to my by the devs from #ps3dev on irc, i had assumed it would work, i don't get it.

The self files from the fixed patches are probably re-encrypted with the 'NP_klic_free' or 'NP_klic_key' that are present in /data/keys. (You could try change one byte in the /data/keys file and see if it can still decrypt those patched self.)

I will try and see what else the devs suggest.. i was pretty convinced this would work..

I have the MW3 .self files decrypted as elf but i did not do them. You can find them on NGU.. Now can make all region patches ,using them..
