tired

i tried almost every tip and hack for my ps3 yellow light problem no luck any more ideas plz should probarly take to shop wowwhat a good idea stupid me

Sounds like YLOD.

You may want to look into a reball if it isn't a power supply issue.

If you have tried every "trick" you have probably made it worse, esp if you did the fabled hair drier trick. Could have a warped MOBO.

Did you replace the thermal compound with good compound and have a professional either reflow it or reball it. I would recommend reballing it btw.

Did you try the oven trick? It's only a temp-fix anyways.

just change the thermal paste and it should boot perfectly.....

You don't know that it could be a bigger problem. It could be that his solder is cracked under his cpu and gpu and not making good contact.
