Its similar to the spoof/backup swap method to transfer to 4.11 etc.

Sell your 3.55 console an just make a back up of your system then just get a new ps3 because people would love to have a 3.55 console.

I would but its just not worth it. id end up making enough for another ps3 and a little bit of change left over. i just figured i have a rgh 360 so i figured why not have a legit system just for ps3 exclusives and online games i like?

I know but alot of people want 3.55 consoles and there getting harder and harder to find so why not just sell it and get a nice new slim. Make sure you don't get a CECH-3001

it already is a nice new slim lol, its only 2 years old..taken care of great. i might have to get a used one if i sell. if you know of anyone willing to spend 300$ let me know lol.

Where'd you get the figure of $300 for a new ps3. And i'm sure someone would trade you their ps3 for that. A new ps3.

i bought mine for 150 from a local pawnshop, wasnt used for more than 1 game...but if im going by store prices, gamestop charges 250$ for their 160bg model. i put a 750 gb hard drive up in it...plus shipping. id like to get around 300 if i sold it.

You could probably get around 350 or 400 and have cash left over.
