And i know for experience...
I made a tutorial "step by step" (and when i say "step by step", i mean it, it was like holding their hands...from formatting your usb drive to backups your games in all sorts of ways) and i still get ppl asking "can you do a video tutorial?"

But we have several options to "force" them to do some reading:
- We can ignore them, or just point them in the right direction (like FAQs, tutorials, etc)

And this way we kill two birds with one stone. We dont get mad and they learn to do a little research.

i havent had any dumb questions asked.
i have seen 1 guy screw up his downgrade then open 3 or 4 threads asking the same "what do i do" question instead of just waiting for a reply. that i did give him the next day and on most of his posts.

but i think if you answer a question the best and simplest way possible and post a link to where they can find more info on there own then most ppl get it.
if not then i try to simplify what i said or ask them questions to try and figure out just what there not grasping. then i can simplify that part the best i can.
if they still dont get it then they never will but i have never had anyone go away from me not understanding something.

now i have a question about this "hypervisor" i hear so much about.
do you pull it down before or after you activate the hyperdrive?
sorry to ask but its totaly confusing and chewbacca just growls at me everytime i ask!!

I still ask questions myself when I'm not sure even after research it doesn't hurt to get a second opinion and reassurance before you go into something >.>

now all these "can someone patch this game" even though its already patched is getting old

For some reason the "Sonic" commercials ring that bell, but I know there are countless others... SpikeTV had a lot of them. How does this crap get through to people?

Im 15 so i grew up in the 90's generation when everything came more and more easy around the 12year old age and you don't see me being a n00b and asking a these stupid questions. I do my research and these n00bs know better that they shouldn't just be handed a "hundred dollars". All these selfish kids want is everything handed to them and it makes me want to rip their head off. I have add & having add doesn't give me an excuse so it shouldn't for all these other 10-14year olds. It's annoying as hell seeing all these post and it definitely has jumped in the last week. One more thing I have 4 and 7 year old nephews that are more smart than these 10-14year olds. What really pisses me off though is that everyone from 3-13 get EVERYTHING given to them and do nothing. I remember asking if I could get a $100 Ps3 on fw3.55 from my mom and it took me a one and a half years, meanwhile my little nephew whines cause he can't play MY xbox 360 and gets a brand new slim the next day while I still have my phat. I know my points are all kinda dispersed and sorry for that but hopefully you get the main point that i'm trying to make.

Beg to differ i have to admit that *generalize* is bad. Some of the users that registered early this year proven to be worthy.
Being a n00b it's not about the postcount or your registration date.
You can be a n00b even if you registered in 2010 and have 2.100 posts or 90. (I saw some of them).

So it's relative.
The behaviour pattern that proves in a second that the n00b don't want to change and only wants *hit and run* is the one who uses the member introducion section to explain his problems.

P.s: Next time think about giving out your PSN username never posted mine for obvious reasons.
