Meruru Atelier fix working

This is the eboot fixed for the disc. Replace the eboot from your back up with this one, make sure your param.sfo is edited. Launch the game, don t install the update. The game will install 1400mb, Japanese language only.

A previous fix was done with the eboot from the update but it was not done properly.
The update can be also fixed if someone feel interest let see for it.

Wikipedia says so. Maybe a JPN/ENG hybrid project like Totori will be done soon.

About Totori english version, do you know the FW version of this game and can you tell more about the detail of this hybrid project? i didn t follow it but it was like translating the language file, not about the eboot?

idk much about that project either. Think they took the files from the ENG version and put them in the JPN version cause only the JPN version was fixable at that time.

Edit: Totori english was 3.66(EU) or 3.60(US).

Fix for Totori (US) has been release from N0DRM team recently.

So let s resume: Meruru JP disc is ok, update can be also as 3.60 signed (i did but feel lazy to pack it in proper way, to test it again etc...probably no one really need it here)
(there are other fix about Meruru floating around, it s not working and from the update, probably even not tested at all)

Meruru US/UE version not yet fixed..and it seem that N0DRM team want to make it (they need original file as eboot.bin/.sfo)

It s a great new that team N0DRM.

The trilogy saga fix is nearly complete to welcome the next Atelier: Ayesha.

I was waiting too long for a fix i went and bought Atelier Meruru to play on DEX. There's an update for ayesha jpn for DEX and i am playing it but i can't seem to completely enjoy it because i don't understand japanese.

Edit: It's easy to replace the audio the us files are named FP_us so just replace the audio files inside the japanese fp folder.

I didn t play Ayesha yet, i know the update fix a bug (game back to xmb) when you meet a character. There are also the PlayView game (it s like electronic guide book) for it on PSP (it was release by a team recently but didn t check it).

About Meruru: there are also the guide book on PSP (my avatar is the ICON of this game for PSP) but the file i got is "broken" so i need to rebuilt (with different path for update as sysdir etc..) to see if working with my psp (LCFW). I don t know if this game was release in regular channel. To rebuilt an eboot.pbp don t seem really hard but i m affraid one file will still be required for play on LCFW.(but probably fine for CFW) and the fact than i can fail even on that easy cut/paste task.

That guide book was also mean to be played on PS3.

You did well to buy the game for having a real visual as artwork.

About artwork book, you can find one around internet about Totori&Rorona (there are other also probably)

There are also PS1 classic fixed: Marie Atelier & Elie Atelier.

E3 should have released Meruru instead of the Batman thing (i asked them in loudly way in this forum), so more people knew about Atelier when eboot were so precious and can truly appreciate their Ps3 as magic device. They should have listen ()

The patch fixed a bug and added dlc support for the game. Atelier Ayesha does some things right like combat system , synthesis upgrade and no time limits at last but goes a step back on gathering material. When you gather materials the items you get are random instead of you choosing which traits to keep.

I bought all 3 atelier games and got their artbook. Only game i didn't like was atelier rorona the time constraints were a pain. I have played the atelier iris series and mana khemia so i might check out the ps1 titles.

About the fixed eboots i wished they put priority on PS3 exclusives since that's one of the reasons i got a PS3. Hopefully 3.70+ leaked keys (if they get leaked by 2014) will help the CFW users fix their own games. Thanks for the patch for meruru i will try it tomorrow.
