my ps3 wont show up the DISC icon at xmb , but the ps already read the CD , cuz when i opened multi man , i see the game at the multiman game list , so the ps read it already , but the disc icon do not apear , i downloaded a file that i can choose the game from multiman then i open it from something looks like a folder name app/playstation , but not all games working with this , any help

are you sure it was the game showing in MM or just the "ready" icon which flicks between ps3 disc, ps2 disc, cd etc?

Sounds like your Bd drive is on the fritz.

then how i fix it if the BD drive fritz , buy a new one ?
btw i cant send it to sony , if i send the ps to sony i will pay the fix 150 $ and a DHL tax , so i can buy a new PS BD drive and replace it ?

Look up noBD patched MFW task or a prepatched noBD CFW. I think Rogeros 3.55 v3.4 CEX has it built in.

To fix it I think you need a Bd drive and logic board to remarry it to your existing mobo.

I think so, look around for repair kits, or buy the parts on ebay from trusted sellers.

I don't think he needs logic board. Only bd-drive.
