No no i did not say you or all the mods here i,m refering only some people. You guys i think did a great job trying to help and i am here to stay but i did learn it the hard way. . I think this forum i have post the most and i will post more in future but not technical things as i am a noob with little hope unless a helping hand to guide step by step. Like captain did for the C2D but i still dare not try it because i think my skill is not there yet or shall i say not even 10%.

when you select "quote" you need to type after the final [ /quote] otherwise it will look like the person you quoted typed it

Like i said earlier i saw many users that i tought at first glimpse....*meh they are here for one reason only* and then they changed for better.

But hey! it's a community and it's about diversity like it or not. Even me when i started here in HAX i was a n00b (im still one) and i have no problem stating that.
Honestly i don't know what's all the big fuzz of being called a n00b. Anyone who started something on a board or anywhere you start as rookie and you can scalate, it's up to the user to keep being something he wants or not.

For example, i entered the community (first psx-scene) just to know more about the Q&A and then moved here just to know more about the PS3. Then discovered ps3devwiki and many other tools that gave me until this day enough information to keep on going.

Guys I can't help but notice in the last 48 hours the forum has become full of idiot newbies. It is making the site become a nightmare to read, some of the questions are utter plain stupid. I know we all start some where but Chr*st guys posting about being on spoof 3.73 firmware and wondering why he has no install packages option, other guy posting about downgrading from 4.21 with a file transfer ...lol More guys posting about downgrading with no hardware ! Finally I am getting newbies sending me pm's who have not even made 1 single post. Can we not do anything ? Can we stop newbies sending pm's to members unless they have made a number of posts ? idiot newbies? May i ask how do you expect a scene to grow when the people in the scene are unwilling to help.. I mean what is the point of these forums? Its not for development most of that happen off sites. So is it to stroke each other off? or is it to lend a helping hand?

Yea PMs can be annoying but you dont have to read them or even respond.. That is your choice..

The scene will not grow with attitudes like this... Yea one could search but if you look most threads will have someone banned or just some ****ing useless ****.. Hell there is alot of outdated info stickied.. So even if one would search they would find that there is some outdated info which would arise more questions..

Im sure everyday in life.. You have to ask someone for advice help or assitance on something..

What would this world be like if people were treated like this for not knowing..

Seriously some people in this thread/forum/scene need to grow the **** up..

This site is very helpful, it even has a banner which tells what most noobs ask, and yet they dont read it. On top of that, there are tonnes of post about hacking your ps3, along with stickies, so if people cannot find the answers then they are not trying hard enough.

It's OK if it's now and again, but when the answer is clear as day right in front of them, then that's just plain lazy. People who are too lazy to help themselves when the answer is right there for them dont deserve help.

I'd say there alot of smart 15-20 year olds like myself I'm most liking graduating my Junoir Year and going in my somphomore year in college. And I'm only 15 and in alot of advance classes in high school. And I smoke and **** and do my homework

anyways its not noobs that bother me as such, its rude noobs and the utterly stupid. like when someone answers a question and they dont take the advise and start acting like they know more about the subject.

i dont mind helping the odd noob especially if i can see they have done some research

but unfortunately the majority of noobs come in here expecting some sort of red carpet treatment. and dont put in any effort what so ever
the amount of threads with "ummm.... how do i play the free games on my toaster" is ridiculous
