Quoting myself as well.. The sources listed also had this about a month ago.

The new cores require a bit of info.
Examples:

Like what romsset for Imame4all?
What Bios is needed for PCE?
What bios is needed for Sega CD (that bios is case sensitive and must be named properly before it will work.)?

What bugs are present in each as they are WIP?

or even what new cores are there.

Just to name a few things..


Helps the developers alot having that info on hand somewhere on the site, so they don't have to answer questions that already have been answered and explained.

Re-reading my topic now, it seems that I deleted the link to the changelog (which had been posted on another topic at time) in the last edition. Basically retroarch has no description/emulated systems. My fault, I'll fix as soon as I get home.

Edit: I'll post the emulated systems and nothing more. Additional information (and support) can be given by the users, myself included. The list will remain clean, updated (where possible) and without tutorials, sorry.

I just posted this in the news section because it was over looked as a news posting when it is some exciting news. i think the members should get a look at. in case they missed your post about adding the download. or dont visit the other scene sites.. New mame port for the ps3 and Sega CD to the ps3.

The last User who suggested such changes in the list was not exactly a nice person, so I ended up getting a bit defensive. Sorry about that and thanks for pointing out the lack of Retroarch description

I am that person I didn't suggest any changes today.. I just wanted to provide info that would help users in the long run. I think i saw your were on vacation and did provide a download but as i said above there is alot of info that user would need to run games off those cores. Ps3hax didn't report this when it was released(could of been a simple oversight, i missed the UAE update in May, as did most of us ). So that's why i put it here to make sure everyone at least had the opportunity ro see and try out these new additions and if the news writers wanted to front-paged they could.

Weather you realized it or not i was trying to help you in the past. Maybe that is the problem with text. it can be taken out of.context easier then a voice conversation..
Honestly i think you got a little defensive back then kind of like you did now. I probley had some faults as well.. but it ended up in a mess when i was just trying to help you then at the time.


P.S. i also noticed you have UAE r7.. Its was updated in MAY to r8 i missed it as well..until recently.. Thanks to @manster here at hax for the tip.

Features: - 68000, 68010, 68020, 68040, 68060 processor cores - OCS, ECS and AGA chipset - amiga hi-res (720x576) graphics resolution in 32bit depth - joystick1, joystick2 (2nd joypad required) and mouse emulation - options dialog (supports switching of the disk files and more) - sound in 48000 kHz - keyboard emulation - support for usb keyboard and usb mouse - support for loading zip and dms floppy images - support hor harddisk files - save-state saving and loading - reads either /dev_usb000/uae/uae.cfg or /dev_hdd0/game/EUAE00829/USRDIR/UAE.CFG configuration during startup! Requires: - ps3 ready to boot homebrew programs - kickstart rom - see docs/readme Controls: - CROSS - joystick button 1 - SQUARE - mouse button 1 - TRIANGLE - mouse button 2 - CIRCLE - user defined keyboard key - press R2 to activate virtual keyboard (vkb), release R2 to hide it. In this configuration file you should specify all required parameters (memory size, kick rom, initial floppy disk files, cpu core, chipset etc.). - Files (kickrom, adf files) are accesible from either usb disk or internal disk. - NTSC support: press and hold CIRCLE button during emulator startup to initialize 480 lines /60 Hz video mode. If it doesn't work for you, you can press and hold TRIANGLE button during starup to use the current video mode set in dashboard. Make sure to change emulator options to actually emulate ntsc amiga machine by setting ntsc=true in your configuration file or in options. - Save states are stored in your harddisk directory /dev_hdd0/game/EUAE00829/USRDIR/SAVE - to use harddisk file: enter options and mount it the "Hard files" submenu. Being honest, I recognized the way you write and post, but I chose not to make assumptions. It was a strange coincidence of events that led me to believe that you are the same person (Squarepusher2 Leaving and a new user talking about the list content and Retroarch updates, pointing to your 2 emulator threads)

No hard feelings about what happened in the past (I prefer to leave the past in the past), but I believe that moderation will not like the idea of ​​a new account ...

Well i posted this because it was missing the infomation for hax users. That why i posted the news articles from PSX and Crunch alot of good info there in the news. (didn't post my threads).. I agree past is past no need to hold a grudge. Im in the scene to help the scene so that is always my motive..
