Why ps3 backups are low quality ? who releases HQ games ?

I understand that Teams like DUPLEX , PARADOX etc release games however they lower the quality of the game media to make it practical for downloading and uploading.

Isnt there a team that releases original backups with high quality Blue Ray copies ? where can we find them ?

i have no idea what you are talking about.
just because the game is on a bluray doesnt mean it has to be 40+gb
there are many games with small sizes, especially multi platform titles

rip one of your own games and compare the file sizes to the warez release. very few actually use the full disc size

if you play a game and the graphics look downgraded, check your A/V settings are correct

+1

Some games ARE 5gb, others are 40+gb

Rip what you have with MM and see!

Also, how would they make a low quality "copy"?... its all digital!?

There are some rip versions and low videos stated explicitly on some releases. I am surprised that you have never seen that before :S
There are several copies for uncharted for example.

I have played syndicated original and a backup and found out that the videos are low and pixelized. There is no issues with my cables :s
and I know that there are original games at 5 GB.

believe it or not, i dont download games so i wouldnt know but if thats the case, why are you choosing rips?

usenet has tons of releases and so do torrents (Ewww!)
do a search for the game then choose the one with the bigger size

i just did a search on usenet and i saw uncharted 3 at 49.49gb, top result

no rips shown either

Sounds like you have a rip instead of a backup. There is a difference.
99% of releases are 1:1 backups with nothing touched (except for eboot/self/sprx fixes).

Other people will take these releases or even backup their own copy and rip content to make it smaller (such as downsampling audio, video etc. and removing other languages)

With a backup, nothing is touched.

As @japsander and @DEFAULTDNB stated above, backup a disc and you will see ZERO difference in the quality of audio/video between the backup and original.

As for game sizes, for example, Burnout Paradise is less than 4GB whereas Resistance 3 is 30GB+

Best explanation yet, thank you @JonahUK

There are many rips out there, but aforemntioned groups always release full versions. Then some people may rip them and put the ripped versions for downloads.

its really not that big of an issue if you were that worried about the graphics you wouldn't be playing your games on a ps3.

as said most games aren't that big and i haven't seen a quality drop in any game
