I'm just totally surprised the game doesn't blow, in fact it's getting very good early ratings.

It looks pretty decent to me and with a combat system akin to batman it should be great to slug it out on the streets.

I remember hoping the same things for true crime before being massively kicked in the balls, and seeing this canned before being picked up again by square Enix who invest in turkeys like Kane and lynch these days left me expecting the worst.

I'm glad to say I was wrong on this one.
