Okay it's about time to get into the Jailbreaking scene, I'm done with having the games exactly the way they are. I want to be able to mod GTA4 and other games like that, I also want to be able to use anybodies Save Game, I am not bothered about playing online with the 3.55, but I do have games that i'd like to play online, is it possible to have two different firmwares?

My PS3 model is...

• CECHMO3
• Date Code 8C
• PAL
• Made In China (Obviously.)

I have heard of the E3 flasher and have done some research, and read the tutorials on how to jailbreak the 3.55.

So, Thoughts?

You can dual boot with the e3 flasher. It tells you how on there download page. Or you can half boot, I think they tell you how to do that as well. Www.e3-tech.net/download.html

All that red and blue text from the E3 download site, what? It's confusing

I'm trying to find an E3 flasher, I know my model has NOR so I can use the flasher, do I have to use a station in order to use dual boot?

Also, wouldn't it be easier for me to just buy a seperate cheap ps3 and then jailbreak it? I have no real knoweledge of the PS3 jailbreaking scene.

Well I'm not that bothered about online, My Internet is going to decrease dramatically, testing the new Internet today, laggy :/ I found some videos on YouTube regarding Waninkoko's CFW that would allow me to play games without games without the disc, and also games I didn't have if I wanted to be a pirate :D, I already have a few games like GTA4 that I mentioned.

The YouTube video also said to use Waninkoko's signed backup manager, that would allow me to mod the game wouldn't it? By adding the ragdoll mod or something like that? I think it would be best for me to buy an external HDD, I have a 640gb laying around the house but I can't find it :/

Wanky firmware was brickware, avoid at all costs. KMEAW ftw.

What game is that info for? What game do you need help with?

If you want to mod a game you need to find the compatible files and swap them out with PS3 version (I.E. From a PC version)

oh right, I'm glad I came here for help. Well theres a multitude of games, but it is a warez site, so I don't know if i'm allowed to post links. So by using MultiMan I can either make a copy of the disc onto the External HDD or Download the game and put it into dev/hdd or something like that?

You can download/backup any game to internal or external, its up to you.

Some games only work internal, most work external.

dev_hdd0/games i think is the internal folder, and dev_usb000/GAMEZ is the usb folder.
