When you say Reboot ps3, and you will be able to install any Dex Firmware, I must do it via recovery menu?

Recovery menu is the way I did it, although some people have reported updating it via Xmb. So recovery menu just to be safe

oh, ok.

So, is there a way to make it work on DEX, or do I have to go back to CEX and fix tthe playback?

As of right now there is not a way at this time to play BD movies on DEX firmware. These consoles weren't designed for home use and theoretically never had a need to watch a BD movie. I don't think you would walk into a game development studio and see the artists, coders, testers, etc. watching BD movies instead of working.

hey, I have another question

with the latest release of multiman for DEX (4.05.04) with mmDM 2.00 did I undestand correcly? we can run BDEMU games, as well as 3.55 games (included fixed ones) on any DEX FW?

or do we still have to switch between 4.21 DEX for example and peek/poke 3.55 DEX?

Thanx for this great tutorial..
I did by meself and everything went well..

For my mate it didn't went so well..
He had to Dehash his PS3 but after the last step the PS3 didn't start
"Now Download the Lvl2Diag.self (2) and place in root- Remove usb, place in ps3,turn on ps3. It will reboot shortly by itself, Remove usb after automatic reboot"...
after that the PS3 didn't reboot.. just a short red light and after that a short green light..
No signal to the TV..
I found something similar to it here on this: BRICK en PS3 SLIM - YouTube
It says that it's a brick but I newer so a brick like that..
I did a lot of research but no solution..
Any ideas or help are welcome..

i need help im on dex 4.21 and i cant run nba 2k13 i have the game on my usb and when i press the game on multiman it brings me to the home screen and i dont see a disc icon or when i press the /app_home/ps3_game it tells me error 80028f14
