I had that error happen to me with uncharted 3 us version, i was trying to use europe patch
for it,i then found the us patch and it worked.maybe the patch you used is for the wrong region .

I also downloaded the same cars version as you :D I am thinking it was the wrong region patch as we both had the spanish usa one cant be bothered with direct downloading as it takes the piss
