I done everything. but when i get to the downgrading part. i put the e3_downgrade.bin into the sd card. i turn on the ps3 and press start.

when all that is done i turned off the ps3 and turn it back on and the video says that i should be in the please connect controller screen. but my ps3 just boots up normally and is on OFW 4.20. ive look for days on google for a solution without any luck, your my last hope. please help

Patch your dump and flash it (100000). If you see connect controller screen then proceed downgrade step.

U mean when i do the backup. I take one of the backups and patch it, then do the recovery process with patched backup. but how do i patch it exactlly??

Yes. Take 1 of your backup ( make sure its good ). Patch and flash it on XMB.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. My brother updates my PS3 3.55 Wanikoko to 4.11 on July 2012.
2. After hours wasted searching for some method to downgrade 4.11 on internet. I decide to buy

This kit


3. To install the kit i use as reference this video. I

succeed with all the hardware installation. (Min 9:30)

4. I succeed with all the lights blinking slowly each time (Min 15:10)

And each time I turn on during the process I can see the 4.11 OS without problems.


5. On the video Min 15:10 he presents some USB called P3GO


Couse I didn´t have it (on that moment) I went to the website for PS3Key


(you have to download some files providing some password they give me on the shop, and put it on the USB) So I thought this was the

replacement for the P3GO

6. So I follow the instructions used on the video (on Min 15:10) but instead to atach the P3GO i attached the PS3KEY. It blinks a

little bit on blue and after on Red and then stoped blinked (As described on their website)


7. Then I followed the instructions that proceeds on the video. And I sticked the normal PC USB stick with the right files inside on

the PS3.


8. (This step repeats but just with different file PUP 3.55) Then I followed the instructions that proceeds on the video. And I

sticked the normal PC USB stick with the PUP file on the PS3.


9. And this is the result I should get on this step

But instead for this "Happy Ending" I get instead this message.


10. After trying and trying after solutions around PS3KEY. In some case I decided to CHECK what could happen if I press the "RED

BUTTON". And yes.. I did it.. =/ (I feel guilty)

(So hear I learned that the guy who puts a label like that should put also a explanation AFTER, like: "couse you gonna waste 20hours

of your life trying to found a solution on forums, youtube videos, google, etc.. looking for a solution. Trying again and again

without luck and feelin frustated.. etc..") with a explanation like that I should understand better!

11. I decided to buy the P3GO on



DiscoChip and I recived it after some weeks.

12. So I went back to the video (on Min 10:00) and doing all what he shows to do with the files again.

But! On this time (the first time occured like expected on the video) every time the video shows this:

But I get each time this screen when I turned on the PS3

And each time I wanted to turn OFF the PS3 i didn´t worked with just pushing one time the Power button. I had to hold it for 7seconds

to could turn it off. But the blinking process runed as normal!

13. Then cames the "GRAND MOMENT". I plugged in the P3GO followed the rest instructions (Steps 6 to 9) explained above already.


14. And this is the result I still getting: The P3GO never "Activates" or blink and after shut down the colors.. I wated 1 min and it didn´t do ANYTHINK Just all the light lighting. On the video you can see how all lights are blinking and after their shout down. In my case it never happens.


15. I tryed aswell to download the Update 4.21 and update it from "Recovery Mode" but I get a message like "The data is Corrupted". I

tryed with 4.11 aswell. Getting the same message all the time.

16. Then I wasted more and more time and frustation, typing different keywords, surfing around websites of all classes without luck.

Until I googled


17. I see a big SIMILARITY on the problem exposed for the member "logopoppi"

This is how I understood this response:
1- I copy and paste my backup to the microsim. After i switch the E3 flasher with all down and the first starting from the red buttons

up. Wait for the blue led process. And after just making steps 6 to 9 described earlyer on this response am posting.

WTF??) byte reversed (So the patch file is already byte reversed? or did I have to byte reverse the patch file in some moment before?). Somebody knows how to translate this?

Select as Input Dump File the unmodified dump (AC OF FF EO / AD DE EF BE) = Ok, so in some EXE program I imagine that it gonna be some option that let us select "the unmodified dump (AC OF FF EO / AD DE EF BE)" but i don´t understand where can i find this dump (AC OF FF EO / AD DE EF BE)?

Use the patched file = To use the "ReWrited on my Original file".

Use E3 to flash the PS3 = Use the E3:

To flash the PS3 (I don´t understand.. a flash is a USB driver.. "To flash" here now it sounds like to "dump".. whats the definition "To flash" in this context?

Wow. You are making it way harder than it is.
If you see the "please connect controller screen". DO NOT CONNECT CONTROLLER! Simply turn ps3 off by the switch.
Then put pskey in the right most usb port. Turn switch back on and press power then eject.

And continue with guide.

Hi there! And thanks for your fast response.

Ok,

1 - I switch the power off back the PS3.
2 - I connect the P3GO on the second USB

3 - I switch the power back again back the PS3. And press the ON button and rappidly the eject button. I hear a bip
4 - The P3GO just blink all the time without intermetance. And without turning of on any moment.
5 - On the screen I still seeing this message:


Couse you mentioned the PS3KEY i tryied the same process with the PS3key and get the same result.
