To the haters: If you cant reverse this then you do not need it.
The devs that "need" it surely got it, and we will to, but only when it is ready for us. Read below about basebands exploits on what i mean before spewing **** about "devs keeping all the goodies to themselfs,,," Even if you got the "payload/unicorn" in the raw, then what would you do with it?! Lets look at the Iphone: Every important discovery is of no use untill it is in a working exploit. Think baseband exploits, that begin as a discovered overflow/crash, that then might need months of work to be of any use to the general public. So lets keep our fingers crossed, just incase there is a new exploit in the making.... |

Guys you seem to be missing the point of this challenge..
The payload is hidden for a reason and if someone does manage to expose the payload? Well it is back to the drawing board to keep it hidden. Why? well it is my guess that it is so Sony can't get its hands on it and fix whatever the *real* payload exploits Yes it is a *fake* payload in the challenge Next question, is there a *real* payload for a real exploit ? who knows, maybe there is no *real* payload/exploit yet, but at least with exercises such as these if/when one becomes available it will likely last longer. Quit *****ing about things you don't understand and instead get yourself to a position where you can contribute something other than childish whining or inane banter. |

That is so fun about lotsa ps3 devs, condemning piracy and in the same time owning copyrightes software and data that are quite expensive (ida, ps3 sdk, visual studio, ida plugins) |
