doesn't work at all on 3.55Rebug. Greeted by black screen or an "err = 300" massage every time, and had to pull the power to restart.

That's what the noobs lack nowadays - a functional brain that allows them to think and do things critically and independently!  Anyway, CEX is a standard retail/consumer-level firmware/system and DEX is debug/developer-level (usually used by developers) firmware/system. |

Thank goodness for the ps3hax banner otherwise I would have probably downloaded this and tried to connect to psn with it (only to be sorely disappointed) so the sole purpose of this update to reactpsn is to..... switch between CEX-DEX fws? (assuming you have dex already installed)

with this will we still need to de-Hash before going back to cex from dex if having upgrade and then downgraded back to dex 3.55?
