Good point, but sometimes, people just get so ticked off with certain noobs up to the point that they end up getting frustrated when it comes to dealing with them (and eventually, noobs as a whole, as those who help out then eventually develop the view that a noob = a mentally subnormal idiot with a single-digit intelligence quotient score), ESPECIALLY when some of them say the stupidest of things, or in some cases, they say things VERY unclearly, and you try to help them, but they complain and whine in a butthurt manner that you're not helping them/answering their question(s) - from there, I'm then like "ugh"!

Having said that though, I try my best to help out though, but half of the time, I can be a moron as well, and speaking of frustration/hostility, we all end up getting ticked off, with some getting ticked off with them more quickly than others, and some of them getting annoyed at the wrong place/time.

Lastly, I apologize to @Gymjunkii32 if I've offended him!

I'm finding it very hard to not respond with a long post explaining just how big a problem it is that people don't do any research for themselves and just what the implications for that are and what it says about that person in terms of the whole spectrum of their personality and that my misgivings towards the actions and calling someone a POS pales into insignificance Vs THEIR personality flaws.

Think he's asking if you need to have gone to DEX first the conventional method before using this quick method.

I was in doubt because of this statment:

Why someone cannot make a pkg that dumps your NOR and rootkey, fix it and runs to make retail to Dex?

I'm read in a couple of places the reactpsn CEX -> DEX is a little wonky and might bring up problems when upgrading the firmware to a later DEX OFW, god knows if that's just people talking out their backside or genuine as I skipped over it as it didn't interest me.

...Until I just found a news posting on eurasia.nu stating that you can hex edit ps3gen to support up to 255 games instead of 4.

i read this post about the ps3gen hex edit in EurAsia.nu . if this is true this will increase a lot the benefits of a DEX console...
