Hey everyone just joined the forum.

I just jail broke my ps3 slim 320gb newest model with the cfw 4.21. I am now stuck wondering what I need to dowmload to make downloaded games playable, and what type of game files (ISO?) to download.

Also my ps3 did not beep when the update finisged downloading is it still jail broken?

Any help or pointers would be much appreciated

I will believe you when you say "I jailbroke my ps3" but cfw 4.21? That's implausible. Most likely you have ofw and your out of luck. I suggest that you 'I jailbroke my ps3" again and stick to 3.55... There is NO higher cfw than 3.55.

Welcome to ps3hax @jennaflame .

Hope you haven't installed 4.21 kiosk firmware, if you have I think you can get out of kiosk back to retail with a reverter pup.

If you just recently purchased a ps3 it will likely have an installed firmware that is above 3.55 and not be able to be jailbroken or even downgraded since a ps3 can only be downgraded with purchased and installed equipment to the lowest firmware it was shipped (purchased) with. The only jailbreak is for 3.55...........anything else is a lie and can potentially brick your console.

Well when I was Googling jailbreak for my model I found a video with directions and the cfw 4.21 as it stated. I'm not an idiot I've just been impatient and jumped at one of my first finds. Shoulda looked deeper but thats what forum help is for lol working on the resolve
