Multiman full or base version

I am currently on multiman version 02.09.00. I wanted to know whether I should upgrade it to 04.04.03 which was the full version or to the latest version which is 04.04.04 which is base version ?

04.04.04 base
It provides all the required features Except the game covers. The game covers use alot of disk space.

Delete your current mM, 02.09.00.
Install 04.04.03 Full then 04.04.04 Base, if ya want to.

multiMAN ver 04.04.03 FULL.rar (260.90MB) (showTIME, ps3NETSRV, lastGAME, bdRESET, 2 HD motion background, 7 themes and 7266 game covers) (Can be used to update to 04.04.03 from any previous version)
multiMAN ver 04.04.04 BASE.rar ( 28.22MB) (showTIME lastGAME2 bdRESET22 ps3NETSRV) (Can be used to update to 04.04.04 from any previous version)

Is it necessary to delete the current version before upgrading. If yes then how can I do it. Plus if I delete the current version would be the game backups loaded in the internal hdd remain safe ?

All games will be fine.

I only suggested deleting the current version of mM in your case because I've read folks having issues trying to update from a version 2.X.X mM to a 4.X.X mM.

Delete mM by pressing while on it in the XMB and choose Delete from the menu.
