Your PSP has to be on 5.50. I use my PSP 1001 on 5.50 GEN-D3.
Also make sure when the connect controller screen comes up, you cut the power by the switch or pulling the plug. Not by holding the power button.

If you don't cut the power completely by the switch or pulling the plug. The Power eject does not work to go to FSM.

will i have the psp1000 but i updated it to 6.6 PRO yesterday. i guess it is time to use my Pandora Battery again. but i will try unpluging the power first

EDIT2: USING PSP1000 with 5.50 GEN D3 with PS3 Jig worked and i am in Service Mode Now. THanx

i am glad you have made a successfull downgrade.

and @playerkp420 it looks like a slap in the face for me in regards to the psp service tool lol.
i will have to add it to the guide (i still dont know why it never worked on any of my psp's.)
