Hi to all of you, i'm Vironas and i'm following the site for a while, so i decided to write on the forum too. I'm 22 years old and I write from Italy. I wanted to make a question, i have downloaded the MinVerChk software, and my PS3 can install software from 3.65 and before. It means that if I buy an E3 Flasher i can downgrade the firmware? If the answer is yes, it is easy to use the E3 Flasher? I know that is an hardware device, so it has to be inserted on the console, but i don't know if may be problems if I do something wrong. E3 is a no solder clip for NOR consoles (so basically all slims) if you have a NAND console it won't work (nearly all "fat" consoles). It's a pain in the arse to clip on properly and you have to open the PS3 but nothing any normal person couldn't do as long as your not a complete idiot. (there's plenty of them around though so bare that in mind).

Yes it can downgrade from any current firmware revision.

If you have a NAND console you will need a progskeet which is beyond most people's abilities to install and requires soldering and even if your good at soldering is still not "easy".

I have first hand experience of an E3 (well a friend who I consider to be a retard managed to clip it on ok) so that's good enough for me.

3.65 is the LOWEST you can go if that is what minvercheck stated meaning that you cannot enjoy cfw and downgrading lower than 3.65 will brick your ps3
