Need Help Installing 8 GB PKG FILE in the Internal HDD

Hey guys,

I know this might be a NooB question but i am unable to figure out how to install an 8 GB pkg file into my internal HDD.

It's actually "Tom Clancy's Hawx 2" which i converted to a psn game and now I don't know how to install that 8 GB pkg file that got created after converting.I don't even know if it's possible in the first place

Please guys help me out

If you are on Rebug. Use Rebug Selector to create "package" folder. Then use FTP/mM to transfer that .pkg file to that package folder. Once done. From your XMB, under Install Package from HDD, you can install that file. Once installed you can delete that .pkg via mM.

I hope it helps.

I make it with regero cfw i copy the pkg in tmp folder go in to the file browser and select the pkg and multiman make a symlink or else you just have only then to leave multiman and go to install pakage und ther it is. and install.

which temp folder are you talking about
cuz that 8 GB pkg isn't gonna fit into any fat 32 HDD

You need to access the package from your internal drive and have the PS3 allow you to install it from the internal. This is easily accomplished by FTP'ing the pkg to your HDD which is not FAT32 but ex3. What you need to do now is search how to install packages on kmeaw from the internal drive. Once you've done that you'll have your answer.

I believe MatrixOne says multiMAN can help you perform the action but you'd have to search more on it. I'm sure there's a tutorial somewhere use google >.>

on PS3 HDD0 are a tmp folder there are put i the big pkg

FTP it or split it with split4g, and rejoin with multiman.

The parts should be named file.66600, file.66601, file.66602 etc.

this is how i installed fifa12 9gb pkg--copied it by ftp using multiman to pkg folder in multiman's game(bles 80..)/ usirdir/PKG,then mmos to that file select it twice it asks to install pkg from xmb then quits to xmb ,go to install pkg options it shows the pkg select it and install..

Kmeaw CFW is really old and dated. You should use Rebug or Rogero.
