I've read the Koran, the Torah, and the Bible(various versions as well as canonical). I've read the books that didn't make it into the bible at the conference of Nicea. I've studied the Epic of Gilgamesh. I've even read translated versions of the Dead sea Scrolls. One of my best friends and former roommates is Laos Buddhist. He's taught me extensively about Buddhism. I've also studied religions from an historical standpoint. Based on my studies and my own personal religious experience I have chosen to be Christian. I wasn't raised religious. In fact, I don't even believe in modern day organized religion for the most part...except for the praise and worship. I could go on and on about why. But I'm sure nobody wants to read that. What I'll say is that I think spirituality/religion can be a beautiful thing. The sad part is that man has ruined it with his own interpretations, propaganda, self interests, and societies standards of what it should be. It will always continue to confuse me to see people do the things they do that would push people further away from God rather than draw them nearer. That is all. That being said, I respect every bodies views and beliefs. After all, I believe God wants you to be able to make your own choice in the matter.

I personally have tried to believe in a greater power but for some reason every time i seem to, in a way, prove myself otherwise. I think the main reason is that I'm a logical thinker, if that makes any sense.

Although I'm technically Christian via forced baptism, I don't know a damn thing about Christianity or the Lord Jesus Christ. I don't follow anything about Christianity and don't go to church. I was even falling asleep during the teachings I was supposed to be memorizing RIGHT IN FRONT of the pastor... I guess you can say I defected from Christianity to [Insert Name Here] because I don't know what to believe in to be perfectly honest with you. I just hope that when I die I awaken in a place better than this where I can do whatever I want and be happy all the time. I'll see Anne Frank one day and we'll have a ball.
