To give you my personal opinion, in my case I bought E3 Flasher (Standard) from DealExtreme. The shipment arrived in very good condition and all, but it took some time since it was sent from China (approx 2 weeks).

Now, first of all, you will need the following items for the E3 Flasher to work properly and to use it accordingly:

- Thermaltake BlacX eSATA USB Docking Station (Amazon link, I bought it there)
- Maxell 8 GB Micro SDHC Flash Memory Card with Adapter (I bought this on a local K-Mart store)

Other brands might do the job, but I got those specific products for my E3 Flasher.

Make sure your PS3 is compatible with the E3 Flasher and that you can downgrade it, some PS3 newest models cannot be downgraded.

When you get the E3 Flasher you will have to do a little modification to your E3 NOR Clip since it is known to give problems with contact, you can check this thread for more information on how to solve this:

In my personal experience, sanding the E3 NOR Clip wasn't enough, I had to put 2 Nickels / Cents on top of the Clip, put some tape on it and then, when I put back everything it was very tight and pressed down.

Remember to do everything very carefully when youre working with the flasher, and make sure you read this great guide by @playerkp420 ...

EDIT: You will need a downgrade jig / dongle, in my case I had E3 Card Reader, it have a couple of functions:

- USB Storage Device (has little memory, but you can put a MicroSD and expand it )
- Downgrader / Jailbreak

I upgraded the dongle with the files listed in E3 official site for the downgrade functionality, here...

I "only" used the E3 Card Reader as FSM / Downgrade JIG, I recommend to use other USB Storage Device for other operations while using the E3 Flasher. Be careful if you plan to use it for everything (not recommended).

I got the limited edition. It came with the esata dock. Another thing it came with is the e3 slim power switch. Which comes in handy for doing slims.

I saved $20, by not having to buy an e3 card reader. Because I use PS3Jig app, to enter FSM with my PSP. But your PSP has to be old enough to be downgraded to 5.50. Because the app only works on cfw 5.50. Mine is a 1001 on 5.50 GEN-D3.
Plus I saved another few bucks, by having a micro sd card from an old phone.

But all in all, after shipping I paid about $120. I did pay for faster shipping, though. And it still took 3 weeks to get it. I got mine from coolgadgetsgift.com. I think modchipcentral has faster shipping.

Modchipcentral is $115 shipped to Georgia for e3 3k limited and e3 card reader. Took about 4 or 5 days to arrive. If you live in USA, it will be pretty close to that price and will get it in less than a week. You will still need a micro sd card. I recommend a 2 gb

Yeah that's the app. It is to enter FSM, so it is not a compatibility thing with the e3.

yeah and since you have psp then you wont need the e3 card reader, so that will save $15. I think the actual flasher limited is like $85 plus like $10 shipping so somewhere around $100 should do the trick.
