I am just saying it is not as bad as some people here are putting it. There are still tons of site like demonoid and megaupload.

Demonoid was really a public tracker, almost no different than pirate bay. It just was "closed" to registrations most of the month. Anyone could still download at any time from them.

As for fast alternatives to Megaupload: Peejeshare, Filecloud (ifile.it), Jumbofiles, Mediafire, etc. There are still a lot of fast DDLs around.

Sure, usenet got it's advantages but I prefer to have a way to reach the uploader if problems arise or to request stuff (although that's probably possible on usenet) or to download themed packs (movies).
Also, I'm unemployed atm so money is tight and I hate restrictions like 10 retency or download limits

Torrents sites can be used as an analogy with ancient advance civilizations (Egypt, Rome, and etc) throughout our Earth's known history which can be described in this three step process:

1. They Rise = meaning they become the new **** for piracy

2. They Conquer = meaning more users spread the word about the site resulting to more trackers being established

3. They Crumble = meaning the site has simply became over exhausted from the usage of "WAREZ!" by users and the government shut downs the site

I advise everybody who have listed torrent websites on this thread keep them to yourself to prevent them from being shutdown sooner then you want them to and savior them as long as you can.

Use Google or other search engines to find your personal favorite torrent website.
