Hey ZOMBIEKILLAH, thanks for your great work but I'm having the same issue as jaskaho, if you could get this running somehow on internal it would be deeply appreciated.

I was getting a black screen also, I read every post. I checked the version in my SFO with an SFOeditor I found on PS3hax. My version was wrong. I changed my version to 3.4000 with the SFOeditor and then placed it back using ftp being sure to (overwrite).
I then deleted the MW3 Game Data. I applied the patch again and it worked.
Also, I noticed that I get a black screen if "BD Mirror" is not used.
I have this running from internal hard disk.

the rip i had was a prepatched one

You are the man ZOMBIEKILLAH ! I didnt doubt your work. I was just trying to figure out what I might be doing wrong. After ripping from retail disc and applying patch with BD mirror worked fine.

Look below your post . That is the first i seen it has worked for internal. I am sure it is the new multiman version 04.00.00+

This is what I did and currently have black screen. I have my retail copy and backed up to
internal drive, Blus 30838. I applied the patch and attempted to play, select - x, returns to the game disc and hit x. No go.

Thanks for the replies guys, but I don't think changing param.sfo does the trick since the duplex is already 3.55. I tried changing it to 3.4000 like you did but no go.
Still blackscreen on internal for me too. I'm running MM 4.00.00, bd mirror is not an option on internal on that version, external only.
I'm gonna try updating to the latest MM and see if I can get it working.

BTW, are you playing discless from app home or with disc in drive?

Changed Param.sfo to 3.55, no go. Changed it to 3.40, no go. Tried setting permissions and still same black screen. I did update MM to the latest, 4.04.04 and still same black screen.

only thing i haven't tried is playing it off of app/home instead of the disc in drive.

No clue as to what to do next since other people seem to have it working.

Got it working! Finally, I installed multiman 04.04.03 Full, in that version there's the option to use bd mirror on internal. So, hit triangle when on MW3,go to game settings, check the boxes for internal and bd mirror. Press start, play from disc icon on XMB. (didn't try dicless but gonna give it a go later) Hope it works out for you too!

I have Rogero CFW. And I dont get a black screen it just restarts and exits multiman and goes to the openning screen. Do I need to go back to kmeaw CFW?
