Madden 12 - I've done some research
The PSFR33 fix obviously does not work.
I did extract the pkg and it seems the eboot.bin is fixed for 3.55 (I checked with SCETool GUI 0.2.8), the param.sfo is mislabeled as being GD for game data, it should be BD for blue-ray disc, but it fails to start either way. I replaced the eboot.bin only and it fails, adding the other files from the pkg also causes it to fail, but it says "Unsupported data" in the disc icon in XMB. When you mod the param.sfo to be BD, it says "game failed to start" after launching, if its the original param.sfo (meaning for 3.66) it gives the normal PS3 error code (8000 whatever) and if using the PSFR33 param.sfo its unsupported data in disc icon. Very strange. Anyone else know any info on this title or why its not working? |

did you get the CHARGED release or is it a self rip? and is it PAL or USA?

change the original sfo to the BLES version, rename your game folder from BLUS to BLES version, then install the crack. A little more research and you'll find the european game id

my game folder is Madden.NFL.12.PS3-CHARGED, i use the release name for the folders on my hdd.
how will changing a folder name help? i mean ill try i just dont see the point. |

"GD" is Game Data (update) and "DG" is Disc Game. If the fix is an installable pkg, then the param is correct. |

the pkg contains the eboot.bin and some other game data that is normally located on the disc/in the games folder on usb hdd. i tried just installing the pkg and running the game i get the normal ps3 game disc error, the 8000-blah error code.

I think he changed something in the original files because i just installed and it worked.

you asked for help, if you dont want it then why ask, do more research yourself then.
************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* delete any game data you have and start over. Install the game, change the folder name to BLES, change sfo to Bles, then install patch package.
