Post Dualshock 3 hardware axis inversion.

Hi all!

Can You please tell me if I am able to revert axis for the right stick? I took a brief look on disassembled controller and it is still not obvious to me if it is reversible.

Thanks in advance.

i dont quite understand.

games that support inversion have it in the options.

if you want it permanently inverted i guess you will need to desolder > turn > solder the joystick component but that seems a little "hardcore" lol as it will be a permanent mod that will mess with any game that you dont want it inverted

For example the thread yesterday about how to extract keys.

japsander, ok, so no way to do this without soldering-iron?
I suppose I'll need a second joystick to try.
Thanks.
And yes, I know it will result in inversion in ALL games, and this is ok.

concretecork, and what is wrong with the question? On each forum there is at least one "genius" that will always say crap like one you said.

@concretecork they are curious i can't blame them. It's up to us to make the right decisions about leave the thread open or start with infractions.

@ZackFair don't be so sensitive, the user stated something because this kind of thread is repeating itself. Not harm done. And about the inverted or what you asking you have to do some *hardware* mod, you have to dissemble the PS3 controller in order to do what you want.

This will be a permanent modification, try it with a cheap one first so you don't destroy a perfectly good controller. Removing the unit could be tricky due to the amount of solder points and the distance between them. You will need to be very careful.
