hi guys,
i have an chance to buy a second hand ck3 lite and probe and all wires at a very good price, i am only getting into this scene of flashing drives, so my question is, is this a good piece of kit i know there is the new usb version, but will this do the job, i dont really have any spare cash to spend on the new ones,
any help would be great!

I have ck3 lite and probe v3.
I also use the x360usb pro, to connect the drive to my pc. But you can do it without it, if you have sata ports on your mobo.

Just make tour own probe and power the drive from your xbox. Thats what I did and it was free and simple

Or you can do what i did. Just buy a probe for £10/$15 and power the drive from the xbox. Or make one as JustThatDude said. The ck3 lite is not needed and most useful for power. Although if the price is good go for it. When flashing rule No1 is to backup your drive key and verify its the correct one.

i heard if you use the console to power the drive you get flagged if you go online with it!is there any truth in this,i think ill just buy it im getting it for 20 euro, cant comlain with that, i just dont want to buy rthis and then find out i have to buy something else, thanks for all your replys!!

No I did it and play online with back-ups all the time. I've powered it from the drive twice because I have two flashed xbox's and play on both. There is no way to read the data off the drive while your flashing it because your just using power from the xbox.

thats ineresting, so how have some people been banned with flashed consoles? or is it for that reason at all they where banned! 'i wonder', so do you think im wasting my time buying this, should i just make the probe?
