nice job man. The link was removed so i cant test it, but the concept is nice. Im sure we will still get the "can i downgrade" guys about 20 times a say, but every little bit helps. Unless you do like @mrc1978 said and make it pop up when you register.

Sketchy coding is better than not being able to code at all.

Also changing you from member to mod is as simple as selecting moderator from a drop down box and saving.
