Pc games on a ps3?
Hi, title might be a bit stupid, but ive been noticing that my computer is performing poorly on the games i use to play, and i realised that maby i can turn my ps3 into a pcgaming machine:S, i saw some1 do it with a xbox360 on youtube back in the days. Basicly i want something that i can run guildwars 2 on when it comes out, and ive been searching for answers on different forums with no luck. Is it possible to get pc games running on a linux ps3 or any other OS installed on the ps3?

Just upgrade your PC if you need to. There are no other options in your case.

i was forced to upgrade my pc for guildwars 2 also and it was money well spent. ran the last beta at max settings 1080p 60fps radeon hd6850 1gb phenom ii x4 965be 8gb ddr3 the ps3 has totally different architecture and will never be able to run as a gaming pc as for the xbox360 doing it, i have never heard of it being done and would be very suspicious of videos found on youtube as youtube is the 4chan of video examples.

You can either de-crappify your PC by removing OEM softwares, getting hardware upgrades and doing other neat things like running CCleaner on a daily basis.
As for PS3, only if they're ported to GameOS. |
