Just a question here: How is this better than what TB did?

Someone's making cash from taking something that "should be free" in both cases. And, with all due respect, I don't think Deviance had anything to do with the 3.60 key leak, nor with the TB-DRM crack. Sure, this might be done to cover for the bandwidth expenses, if any arise. But, I am sure TB had expenses too. Yet, when they tried to cover theirs, and make some dough -- which I am sure the author of this tool doesn't mind either, especially since bandwidth is cheap as dirt -- they were called the bane of the scene. All this does is download files from his server, and make you go through ads first.

I don't care if money is made, and I don't have any dongle either, just to make that clear. But, what I don't understand is, this site has damned and put down dongle-makers, and even deank -- who has put in big amounts of time into coding for the scene -- for "selling out". Yet, this is praised. Smells of hypocrisy to me.

Ummm these cracked eboots are free, and TB isn't free in any form. They rip off Sony and the end users. Educate yourself. This type of stupidity (among other reasons) is why I am leaving hax. Maybe you should learn some respect, but you probably don't respect how someone has taken the time to make things more convenient for the end user. Go troll elsewhere, or better yet pick up a book, educate yourself, and STFU with pointless trolling ass garbage ****ing posts like the one you made. I have an even better idea, carry your dongle loving ass back to crunch and suck the crabs right off of GayOPA's dick.

If you believe I would rather want a third party make money from things that should be free, then obviously you misunderstood my post.

The reason AdBlock+ (and variants) are so popular, is exactly because people extremely dislike ads. This tool makes you go through those.

My problem is not with the tool, or even the dongles. It's with the site's hypocrisy concerning how the two are perceived, while both of them basically do the same thing.

You speak of respect, yet you show absolutely none. You do nothing but insult.

What does that have to do with anything? Because he chose to host them on a private server? Bandwidth is cheap, and there was no reason to host them himself.

Hell, he didn't have to do this tool at all. There's EBOOTs all over the place now. Yo can find them on countless file-hosters, torrent sites, forums, irc-channels, scene-ftps... I think you catch my drift.
