dont know if this is relevent but a few hours before i got a core dump i rebuilt Ps3 database.
core dump settings
saved to hdd
every box was unticked....in the core dump settings you can tell it where to save (hdd/usb/app-home) when you have a dump goto core dump then at the top click copy then save to usb

RAM memory. The ps3 has chips that temporary store game data and assets. This is the memory that gets dumped to the coredump.

In case of @harryoke 's dogma dump, the game had assigned 512MB of virtual memory when it crashed. I have the main game/elf dumped from there but can't test since i don't know which version the crash is from.

(I need the original eboot.bin in order to construct the elf64 section headers to even get a proof of concept.)

Because Coredump dumps memory, not the media that contains the game.

Very disappointed in you, clearly it's a memory dump so makes no difference if disk is in drive or not.

Might aswell help out other's ive had this for over a month some dev's it was rubbish this is off my 4.20 dex so it could help out others http://www.mediafire.com/file/kw3ync...6/0402003e.rar and there is no virus im not a scammer or put rat's in or key loggers i will post a virus scan.if you want me to.Just helping out the scene to make more progress on the ps3 so enjoy.
