The guy was working mostly to get his ES version working. I have a fresh rip of the US version of the game and was curious if anyone has it working.

I found a .pkg file on the usenets that says it's for the "Ace Combat Assault Horizon FW355 Patch USA PS3 PSFR33" I backed up the game, ran the .pkg and nadda. Asks me to update the firmware.

Any suggestions? I deleted out the copy from above and re-copied a fresh rip to my hdd.

if it asked you to update did you edit the SFO to 3.55 or 3.41, or try spoofing to 4.23 or above?

In the param.sfo I would just change the FW from whatever it says down to 3.55 correct?

I'll double check but I think I tried this. How can I spoof to 4.23? got a link?

But the ultimate question.... does anyone have a backup copy of the US version of Ace Combat working as a backup?

rebug only has a spoofer to 4.11. How can you spoof to 4.23? Again, anyone running a backup of Ace Combat?
