When I try to backup bios I get the flashing blue lights 10001100. So I take out the micro sd card and put it back in my pc to read the e3 file says "start logging...

is it correct ,that if I succeeded in dumping Bios of my bricked console in "Flash Fun Mode" , but I didn't check / verify for errors.

then I patched using e-patcher , then flashed the console back , but it still didn't succeed to get de-bricked.

did I lose the ability to backup the Bios dump again ? or I still have a chance for a good bios dump backup ??


I could understand from some forums , that as long as I didn't write a Bios dump from another console on mine , I still have a good chance to de-brick my console , by trying again & again to obtain a good bios dump backup from my own console ?

@Pro.Hack was wondering if I was downgrading from 4.21, screwed up the 3rd step which was downgrading and my ps3 got bricked, I checked the dumps which i have (3 .bin files) with E3 Nor Dump Checker and they come up with errors, want to know if I can try to backup again and if dumps with errors are expected with different backups?? (have unbricked already, at the no signal, no audio, no hdd activity stage), sorry for pming you about the same !

Check that the nor clip is sitting flat on the board with that model ps3 some capacitors sit very close you may need to shave a bit of the nor clip but be careful the plastic is very soft

Also you could try to update the flasher with the Samsung nor fw playerkp420 has posted a link to this update should be in this thread somewhere

Thanks a bunch haz367, I get a lil confused while reading ps3devwiki, i've tried to verify these dumps with E3 Nor Dump Checker V1.0 but get errors, I dunno if there is any way possible that i'm doin somethin wrong, really hope you give me a better answer :/ !! I do have 3 more dumps, I also wanted to know if I get the error 1100010 (not original ps3) then basically I can't get anymore dumps and the only hope I have to save my PS lies with the backups not having errors eh !!?
