Thanks for implementing my request and improvements! Amazing update!

I have few questions on Import & Export of Games.

Scenario :

If a user A export a game (XXX) to text file, the text file contains all the cheats for that particular game. Lets say 3 cheats.

If another User B have the same game but has 1 cheat that is different from user A. If User B uses the same text file from User A to import, will user B's XXX game be overwritten and display only 3 cheats or add to the 1 cheat to become 4 cheats?

Should there be an option if Users want to Overwrite or Add?

Also I humbly like to request a some more improvements/features :

1. Will it be possible for your program to have a unique file extension for all export games. Example : .cu3, ps3cu, ce3 or it is your choice . I believe .txt is a very common format and it can be easily confused with other files. I also believe unique file extension allows for greater sharing, mass importing/exporting.

2. When you export a game, will it be possible to auto name the file in a particular format. Example: GameID_GameName_No. of Cheats_Version_Date_Time. If the user exports more than one game, the file name could be: No. of games_Date_Time

3. I understand that for comments, it requires a lot of work. Will it be possible just to add editing function of individual cheat title?

4. Can your program be a self contained exe without requiring any additional DLLs. Will be perfect for Portable storage devices.

5. This feature is slightly focused at a large scale but it allows for greater code finding from various sources. Let me take some time to explain.

The PS3 Cheats Editor would have its own DB file. It could be in XML or SQL, which ever is easy for you. Example : CheatsCU.DB. What is the purpose of this. Example : Users could add any games, cheats to the DB. Be it the new codes that are working or that are not tested. By doing this, PS3 Cheats Editor could have column where it could say, working, not tested, added, updated plus a comment section. The database would grow overtime. By doing it this way, st.dat is not disturbed. Since anyone could add cheats to st.dat, no one knows who has the most updated st.dat. Hence, it is more practical to share PS3 Cheats Editor's own DB file than sat.dat.



Users will have the option to only export selected games and cheats or entire db to st.dat. By doing it this way, sat.dat will not be cluttered with alot of games and also it could in the format where code unique 2.3 read it properly.

Also in future, if another developer plans to release another PS3 Cheat App (better) similar to CodeUnique, your application will not be obsolete. You could add another export option that supports that app.

Ah that's interesting , yes I use vb to , api's are something il struggling to get my head around . I've realeased a few things here before , like android app and something else il be putting out something today to an update of something I did a while ago . Any chance you might be able to give me a few pointers about adding apis in vb , for instance if I wanted to use a google Api. Thanks

the editor app works only perfectly for me, if i use txt files, instead of manually adding
you can import this as txt directly in cheat editor

Thanks for the codes! Once @aldostools implements a central Cheat DB to his program, posting/sharing/updating codes will be much easier. At moment it is all over forums in posts and thread. Very messy and counter-productive.
