PID is a Process ID or Program ID.
It is used so an OS can track things that are currently running or in use.

That's about as simple as I can put it.

Thanks Jonah, that is the best answer i have after searching in wiki and don't understand all those figure.

Here is the Core Dump + Original self of NBA 2K7 (BLES00025).
I made the dump from the original disk, i think that i can dump ALL the originals games.

If you are curious, and have a windows machine. Try CTRL+SHIFT+ESCAPE to open task manager. Then the processes tab. Then click on "view" on the taskbar, and choose the subcategory "Select columns".. Make a check next to PID, and press ok. There you go, the PID's of the processes in windows xp/vista/7 shown to you :D If you use windows 8, just go to the details tab in the task manager...

The dump is from the "italian.self", this game has also other selfs for other languages. Tell me if they are needed.
