Downgrade Question
ive got my uncles ps3 here i know its a phat NOR system BUT i checked the lowest firmware it can go to it said 2.80 but it has never been on 3.55 b4 i think he updated it straight to 3.60-3.66 when that was the latest at the time but can it be downgrade it to 3.55

Yes. You will need hardware though. E3 works for NOR.
If it says 2.80 you can downgrade to, you are all good

No. You downgrade it with your e3 flasher to rogero, then you qa flag to dehash and then you can go to another cfw

You use the flasher to flash a patched backup of your nor. Then downgrade in Factory Service mode, to a no check cfw 3.55. Then you have to dehash the syscon checks. You can follow the guide below. It will guide you through the process.
