The logic board on the blu-ray drive is married to the motherboard. So to replace the logic board with another one, you have to remarry it. Searching your question will give you a more detailed description.

So what if someone is using a Ps3 with OFW 4.20 and has a broken drive, can this person remarry his BD ? No , because no Linux on OFW. Buying a new BD Drive with the same KESXXX Model would work too , or? I mean if I have a broken drive on my OFW 4.20, can I buy the same BD drive which is the same as the broken one and replace it ? There should be no need to remarry

If the problem is with your BD drive. Then you can swap the drive with another one. You would just need to put the logic board, that is already married to your mobo, onto the new drive. But that can also be found by searching, or asking in the help section. So let's not derail this thread. BTW-Thanks for the info @manster
