I never use that word. It repulses me. Perhaps it's because all the stupid rappers ruined the word for me.

Yes but unfortunately due to the use it now has a negative connotation in my mind, so I now have an aversion to the word acronym

Walmart is banned within my city limits.
The nearest Walmart is 12 miles away (which really isn't that far though).
The city banned walmart in order to protect the local small businesses.
